The Musée du Quai Branly is one of the largest in Paris. Opened in 2006 it is situated on the banks of the Seine river near the Eiffel Tower.
It is dedicated to indigenous art and exhibits over 3 500 works of art coming from Africa, America, Asia and Oceania. This important collection makes it a must-see destination of non-western arts.
Its original and impressive architecture designed by Jean Nouvel as well as its wild garden make it a pleasant and a very singular place. More than a Museum it is a place of life. It is very pleasant to wander in its spacious corridors and rooms. We will follow the tactile River which leads us through the collections.
You can extend your visit by a gourmet meal at the panoramic restaurant, Les Ombres, situated on the roof or by a nice snack at the Café Branly situated on the ground level.
