Marmottan Monet Museum houses one of the most important Impressionist collections of the capital: 100 masterpieces painted by Claude Monet, including the painting which gave its name to the Impressionist movement: “Impression Soleil Levant”. Many works from Monet’s personal collection are exposed: Gauguin, Guillaumin, Renoir, Sisley, Degas… The delightful work of the only French impressionist woman painter, Berthe Morisot, is represented by beautiful canvases, oils, pastels and watercolors.
The Marmottan Monet Museum regularly organizes temporary exhibitions that are part of the main events of Paris cultural season.
Do not hesitate to let me know if you desire to discover one of these exhibitions!
