The Basilica of the Sacred Heart is one of the most emblematic monuments of Paris. Situated at the top of the Montmartre hill where you can admire one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the capital.

Sacred Heart is a church devoted to pilgrimage and prayer. The mass is served several times a day by the Benedictine nuns living nearby.

With its Romano-Byzantine style the monument is recognizable by its white color. The ceiling of the church is decorated with the largest mosaic of France.

A few steps away from the Basilica you’ll find: la place du Tertre, the area of Abbesses with its steep streets and at the foot of the hill the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret.
