A walking tour during which we will evoke the mysteries and legends of Paris. Many anecdotes and incredible stories… goosebumps and some horror guaranteed!

We may end our visit in one of the mythical cafés of this historical island and on sunny days we may enjoy an ice-cream “chez Berthillon”,  the famous ice-cream manufacturer on the Ile Saint Louis! More than 70 fragrances are available, you just choose your own!

Fineness, Stylishness…. Discover the evolution of Art Nouveau to Art Deco at the Museum of Decorative Arts.

The maximum lenght for the tour is 2 hours

We will discover the influences that inspired a new style at the end of the 19th century and how decorative arts evolved after the First World war into a trend much more sober and simple inspired by ancient civilizations.

After the tour your guide offers you shopping tips and advice for a snack break nearby !

Who would even wonder when passing in front of the Ecoles des Mines, one of the eldest and the most respectable engineering schools in France, that this institution is hiding the rarest collections of minerals in the world!

Situated next to the Luxembourg Gardens, the school was founded by Louis XVI and hosted in the 18th century a simple cabinet of curiosities, now a rich Museum of approximately 4000 stones and minerals.

Picasso arrived in Paris for the Universal Exhibition in 1900, he discovered a very stimulating city,  a quickly changing capital  with new techniques and new technologies…. We will start with the Eiffel Tower area and will continue our visit towards Place de Clichy in the quartier of Batignolles and finish by the Montmartre hill and its artistic atmosphere…
